Get a team of four together for Nov. 23 tournament
Bensenville, Ill. (November 1, 2024)— White Pines Golf Club will host its second-annual “Golf Sticks and Drumsticks” four-person scramble tournament Saturday, November 23, at 500 W. Jefferson St., Bensenville. The inaugural event promises a fun day of golf with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to form four-person teams and participate in the scramble, and every participant will take home a frozen turkey, just in time for the Thanksgiving feast. Additionally, each player will receive two drink tickets, valid for domestic or non-alcoholic beverages, to add to the festivities.
For those seeking an extra layer of competition, an optional $20 team skins game is available to make the day even more interesting.
“The ‘Golf Sticks and Drumsticks’ tournament will award prizes to the top three teams,” says White Pines PGA Golf Professional Bill Roper. “And every participant will receive a turkey just in time for Thanksgiving.”
Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to act swiftly, as registration is limited, ensuring an intimate and engaging experience for all participants. The team entry fee is $380 or $95 per person. A minimum of 10 teams must be registered in order to hold the tournament.
